About CTAC

Pullen Cancer Center

Located inside of the Pullen Cancer Center at VCSG in Chattanooga, TN - The Canine Transplant & Apheresis Center (CTAC) is one of only two stem cell transplant (SCT) centers in the world led by a team of veterinary oncology specialists. With expertise in advanced medical treatments, we are dedicated to providing curative options for dogs with blood cancers such as lymphoma and leukemia as well as non-cancerous diseases that affect the bone marrow.

SCT, also often referred to as Bone Marrow Transplants (BMT), offers the potential to cure certain blood cancers that is not achievable with chemotherapy alone. For dogs whose cancers aren’t cured by SCT, this treatment can still significantly extend life expectancy and improve their quality of life, giving them more meaningful time with their families. Most veterinary insurance companies cover the cost of the procedure up to 90%.
